Frequently asked questions
Ten questions cover almost everything people write in about. If yours is not here, the inbox is open.
Is Toolxpo really free?
Yes. Every tool is free with no trial, no watermark, no export cap, and no premium tier holding back the useful settings. There is nothing to buy.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no email confirmation, and no login. Open a tool and start working.
Are my files uploaded to your server?
No. Every tool runs as code inside your browser tab, so your file is read, processed, and saved back out on your own device. We never receive it.
Is there a file size limit?
We impose none. The practical ceiling is your device's available memory, since the file is held in the browser. Large PDFs and high-resolution images work fine on a laptop but may fail on an older phone.
Do the tools work offline?
Once a tool's page has loaded, the processing itself needs no connection. Navigating to a different tool does require the page to load first.
Which browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on both desktop and mobile. If a tool misbehaves, updating the browser resolves it in most cases.
Can I use the output commercially?
Yes. You keep every right you already had in your files, and we claim no licence over anything you produce. Attribution is not required.
Why did my compressed image lose quality?
Image compression is lossy by design — it discards detail to save bytes. Raise the quality setting for a larger, sharper file, and always keep the original.
Can you recover a file I lost?
No, and this is the direct cost of not uploading anything. Nothing is stored on our side, so a closed tab or a failed download cannot be restored by us.
How do I get a tool added?
Send a feature request. Real requests from real users are how we decide what to build next.
Did not find your answer?
Report a bug if something is broken, request a feature if something is missing, or email [email protected] for anything else. The privacy policy has the long-form version of how your files are handled.
