About This Tool
This tool reduces PDF file size using either a lossless structural cleanup or, for larger savings, by re-rendering pages as compressed images. It's useful when a PDF is too large to email or upload, and lets you choose the right tradeoff between size and text selectability.
How to Use
- Drop a PDF file onto the upload area, or click to browse.
- Pick a compression level: Low (lossless, modest savings) or Medium/High (rasterizes pages for maximum size reduction).
- Click "Compress" and wait for processing to finish.
- Check the original vs. compressed size, then click "Download" to save the result.
